Lost in Iași: Good Day, Y'all

Today was my birthday, y'all. It was a fantastic day! I can't believe I am 21!!!!!!!! My roommates/the girls in my group are awesome and made my birthday special. We went to the botanical gardens and accidentally took a hike through the mud (Leigh and Camille)...It was a pretty park and I loved the plants...well most of them anyway. Like always, I sweated like crazy. We rode the tram there and back...interesting experience. We went to Pizza Hut for dinner. I know y'all are thinking that is very American of me but let me tell you, this Pizza Hut is snazzy. You get menus and can order lots of different things! It was so yummy. The wonderful Norpo girls made me a cake and I got to blow out my candles at dinner. It was so sweet of them! Aislynn was super sweet too and brought me yellow and pink tulips. They are so pretty. Also, I have a confession to make...I bought myself a birthday present. There was this bag that just begged me to buy it. I saw it days ago and I couldn't forget about it!! So I used my birthday as an excuse to buy it! We are going to finish the day with cookies, ice cream (thanks Leigh), and a movie. Yesterday, we went and ate McDonalds (yummy....) and we saw the Avengers! Don't worry it was is English! It was a fantastic movie. The Romanians were extremely pleased with the Shaorma reference at the end. Then we had a most excellent taxi ride home. The man kept guessing we were from Russia! La revedere, y'all.
